Gallery Scale Sculpture
Gallery Scale Sculpture explores the relationship between form, space, material presence, and human perception through works designed to exist within architectural and exhibition environments. These sculptures are conceived not only as isolated objects, but as spatial experiences that interact with light, movement, proximity, and the surrounding atmosphere.
Working across physical and digital processes, the practice combines sculptural intuition with fabrication methodologies that allow forms to evolve across multiple scales—from small studies and maquettes to fully realized large-scale installations. Each work emerges through an iterative process of modeling, material testing, structural exploration, and spatial consideration.
The sculptures investigate balance between precision and imperfection, monumentality and subtlety, weight and fluidity. Materials are selected not only for their structural properties, but for their capacity to hold texture, reflection, depth, and temporal presence. Surface, scale, and silhouette become essential components in shaping how a viewer physically and emotionally encounters the work.
Through fabrication techniques including CNC machining, casting, carving, digital modeling, and layered construction, the practice embraces both technological and hands-on processes. The resulting works aim to create forms that feel simultaneously engineered and organic—constructed yet evolving.
Gallery Scale Sculpture ultimately functions as an exploration of spatial language: how abstract forms can shape atmosphere, invite contemplation, and establish dialogue between object, architecture, and viewer.
